'09, 700XP speedo needle is bouncing around

Just began noticing the speedometer needle bounces from 30-45 MPH when I'm going 20. I haven't checked anything on the speed sensor, but I'm guessing I need to replace it since the one on there is original.

Anything obvious I should check? Are aftermarket sensors reliable? Thanks

Here it is a couple of weeks later. I've used the Ranger nearly every day going at least a couple of miles, usually , <15 MPH. The needle has NOT bounced one time after that one day. I have a new Polaris sensor in the bag waiting for the next event!! Really odd.
